Share the Light Spiritual Care Fundraising Campaign
Share the Light Spiritual Care Fundraising Campaign is about investing in continuing to care for our aging community's spiritual well-being. Our commitment is to care for the whole person - meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Now Is The Time To Give
At current budget needs in relation to recent donation trends Bethania could lose most or all of its spiritual care programs and services. Your donations are vitally important to help us meet this goal. By making a donation to the Share the Light Spiritual Care Fundraising Campaign your gift will ensure the legacy of Bethania caring for the whole person - physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Up-to-date wills help to ensure that your family will be provided for and the Bethania Group will be supported. Gifts made through a will are called bequests. You can make your bequest a specific percentage of the residual amount of your estate or a specific asset.
Endowment funds, or long-term vehicles for charitable giving, are a valuable asset for churches, conferences, and institutions. People with a vision for the longer-term frequently use endowment plans to support the ongoing programs of organizations, whether locally, nationally, or internationally.
An endowment fund is the storing of one or more gifts for long-term benefit to Bethania. It can be a one-person arrangement or it can be an ongoing arrangement where many people contribute.
The goal of estate planning is to provide for your family (especially dependents), to simplify the work of your estate trustees, to continue your support for the charities of your choice, and to minimize taxes.
An Abundance Canada gifting account allows you to make a donation and distribute it and accrued earnings to Bethania immediately or over a number of years. A charitable receipt is issued for the full amount in the year the gift is made.
A gift of life insurance makes it possible for you to leverage your contributions to the Bethania Group. Your gift to the Bethania Group is assured with a paid-up policy or through a policy with ongoing premiums paid by the donor. New or existing policies can be gifted to our partner, Abundance Canada. You may choose to continue paying premiums directly to the insurance company or donate the money to Abundance Canada to pay premiums. Within days or weeks of your death, the insurance proceeds are paid directly to Abundance Canada outside of your estate.
Publicly Traded Securities
You can gift publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.) or other assets such as private company shares, real estate, farm property business or commercial property through Abundance Canada to benefit Bethania. These gifts have become popular as people discover the potential tax advantages and benefits to charity.
