Part Time Term Housekeeping Aide - Bethania Personal Care Home
The Bethania Group is currently recruiting fora Part Time Term Housekeeping Aide(.43 FTE, 33.00 hours biweekly) to join our dedicated team at the Bethania Personal Care Home located at 1045 Concordia Ave. in Winnipeg, MB. This is a term position which is indefinite commencing as soon as possible.
We strive to provide the highest quality of care to all of our residents. To that end we depend on the skills and compassionate caring of individuals in a variety of disciplines including our Housekeeping Department.
Tasks in Housekeeping include sweeping & washing floors, cleaning washrooms, dusting, cleaning windows and removal of garbage as well as cleaning of common areas.
The successful candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year previous housekeeping experience. Experience working in a personal care/healthcare setting is preferable.
As a successful candidate, your past experience reflects that you are committed to customer service and have a strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate well in English is a requirement. Suitable candidates must be available to work various shifts including weekdays and weekends.
This is a unionized position under our CUPE Collective Agreement. This position requires a significant amount of bending and lifting as well as working with chemicals related to cleaning. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the job.
Successful candidates are required to provide a current (within the last year) Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
