On Saturday afternoon, a critical part on the Air Conditioning unit that serves 200, 300, 400 and 500 Wings broke. We had a contractor out immediately to assess and they are now trying to find a replacement for this 50 year old part. If they can’t find a replacement, they will have to build a new shaft so the main fan can restart. The contractors know this is an urgent request, but it may take until Wednesday this week to get the replacement or build the new part.
Until then we have placed fans in those wings to keep air moving and have asked staff to open windows for the evening to allow cooler air in.
