Re:  Deliveries for Personal Care Home Residents

We are now able to accept deliveries for residents.  Please see below for what the protocol is that Bethania and Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home’s must follow.

  • All mail/cards – hold for 24 hours before delivering to resident.
  • Parcels – hold for 72 hours (if family has indicated it contains essential items, Reception contacts the nurse’s station to determine if needed immediately.  If yes, we clean it with disinfectant wipes and deliver to nursing station.  If no, hold for 72 hours).
  • Food – allow store bought in a bag/box that can be wiped and will still be held for 72 hours.  NO Home Baking/Meals, NO Perishable items.
  • Flowers – must be delivered from a florist in a wipe able container.  If not, flowers will be held for 72 hours same as other regular parcels. The office administration does not take responsibility for the care of the flowers during the 72 hour hold as they are unable to be in contact with the package as well.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Kindest Regards,
