ENHANCING RESIDENT CARE AND COMFORT – THE BETHANIA GROUP NEW FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN LAUNCH- DECEMBER 2025

Historically, our Share the Light and Christmas Appeal campaigns have been centered on raising funds for our Spiritual Care programming and Chaplain’s salaries. After a long and persistent push to get those salaries covered, the WRHA has indeed now provided funding for this.
The landscape of long term care, however, has changed. It is exposing gaps in funding at an unprecedented rate and like most non-profit personal care homes (PCHs), there is no funding to upgrade worn out basics, like furniture, medical & rehab equipment, and larger infrastructure, like windows.
We use the funds allocated to us to cover basic building operations and resident care needs, including food costs and personal care.
At the Bethania Group, we are launching a new fundraising campaign to help raise funds for these items that are in dire need of replacement or upgrades. Please consider donating to the Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation- a tax receipt will be issued for your donation. One time and monthly donations are a wonderful way to show our elders that they are not forgotten.
