Housing & Projects is a division of the Bethania Group that focuses on the provision of community care outside of the institutional setting. The range of services include the provision of housing for the elderly, congregate meal programs, assisted living and supportive housing. The Housing & Project team is available to assist a variety of organizations in the delivery of service within an attractive fee structure.

The Deaf Centre located at 285 Pembina Highway in Winnipeg is an independent living residence. Applicants must be one or more of the following:

  • 18 years of age if deaf or hard of hearing
  • 55 years or older
  • Students enrolled in the Deaf Studies Program

We have one-bedroom and bachelor suites with kitchen facilities.

Rent is based on 30% of a tenant's current gross monthly income. Proof of gross monthly income, as well as a certified copy of the tenant's last year's notice of assessment from Revenue Canada (income tax) is required upon entering a lease agreement.

Meal Program is available for tenants to purchase.

There are various social and recreational activities held in the building. Tenants are invited to participate.

529 Country Club Blvd is a seniors community located at 529 Country Club.  Managed by the Bethania Group on behalf of Manitoba Housing and Family Services since 2019. This site has 107 independent living suites Bachelor/Studio suites are 420 sq/ft and 0ne bedroom are 627 sq/ft including.

Rent is based on 30% of a tenant's current gross monthly income. Proof of gross monthly income, as well as a certified copy of the tenant's last year's notice of assessment from Revenue Canada (income tax) is required upon entering a lease agreement. Rent includes Heat, Hydro, Water and use of Laundry machines free of charge. Parking is available for an extra charge.

ArlingtonHaus

ArlingtonHaus is a seniors community located at 880 Arlington.  Owned and operated by the Bethania Group, this site has 116 suites that offer a variety of housing options, including independent living, assisted living and supportive housing.

We provide housekeeping, laundry and dietary services on a bundled service or a-la-carte basis.

The tenants can enjoy twice daily hot meal service provided by our proficient cook. Ambiance is homelike and friendly, where the congeniality among tenants and staff truly creates a family atmosphere.

Food Services

The ArlingtonHaus Food Service provides three meals a day and is acclaimed for its high quality and home-style appeal.

Tenants are encouraged to invite friends and families to join them in sharing a good meal as well as the friendly fellowship characteristic of ArlingtonHaus. Monthly Birthday parties, held to honor all of the birthday celebrants for a given month, continue to be popular events.

Supportive Housing

Supportive Housing is a specialized service for seniors that is housed in 20 suites located on the third and fourth floors of ArlingtonHaus, 880 Arlington Street. Two of the suites are designed with the capacity to accommodate spouses. This service offers full dietary, housekeeping and laundry services and also provides 24-hour supervision and assistance with activities of daily living as well as recreational programming. Therefore, this service is a unique option in the health care continuum that can potentially prevent premature institutionalization where a person can no longer be adequately supported at home with home care.

The setting is designed to be as home-like as possible, with tenant independence and participation encouraged and supported to the highest level possible. Where feasible, dependent on health conditions, tenants enjoy participation in activities. While each tenant has the privacy of their own suite, the common living room and kitchen/dining room on each of the two floors are very popular and create the warmth of a family atmosphere.

Autumn House

Autumn House Inc. is a 68-suite seniors housing complex located at 790 Wellington Avenue and is governed by its own Board of Directors. Bethania Housing & Projects Inc. has been under contract to provide management and administrative services since January 1, 2008. There continues to be a 1 to 2-year wait list for new tenants.

BethaniaHaus

BethaniaHaus, built by the Bethania Group in 1989, is a 53-suite independent living seniors housing building, site located at 1060 Kimberly Avenue, and juxtaposed to the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. This close proximity to the personal care home has made BethaniaHaus a preferred choice for spouses and other family members who want to enjoy the convenience of a short walk down the corridor to share visits with loved ones or vice-versa. There is currently a considerable waitlist for both one and two bedroom suites.
