ENHANCING RESIDENT CARE & COMFORT
For over 40 years, the main fundraising priority for Bethania and Pembina Place has been to cover our Chaplains’ salaries, which were not funded by government. However, in 2023/24 following the COVID pandemic, the government provided funding for new personal home care staff as well as to pay for these salaries.
This new funding has allowed us to now focus on other high priority unfunded Resident care and comfort needs for donation support. These priorities include Therapeutic Recreation programs/equipment, certain Medical Devices/equipment, resident room, dining rooms & common area furniture, and outdoor & grounds maintenance and upgrades.
The specific needs in each of these areas are provided below in the tiles.
Legacy bequeaths from estates or donations of stocks and other investment holdings are also available to support these areas. For more information on how to donate, please contact us (204) 667-0795 or go their website https://abundance.ca/contact/manitoba-and-saskatchewan/
We are very grateful for all past donors who have generously supported Bethania and Pembina Place and we hope you and new prospective donors will consider helping us provide the best quality care possible for our Residents.
God bless you.
