Since Pembina Place became Mom’s home, all aspects of her life have been enriched by the caring staff.
Being a social person, the role of the Recreation Department is particularly important for Mom. She participates in many activities and enjoys talking about her bingo winnings, a craft she did or a special event she attended.
Virtual visitations provided during pandemic lockdowns have been a lifeline for all of us. A heartwarming memory was watching Mom give the Recreation staff hugs and words of thanks at the close of a special event and is a wonderful example of the positive impact the Recreation Department has on Mom’s quality of life.
Thank you to all of the staff for everything you do to make Mom’s life better.
