Dear Residents and Families:
We are pleased to announce that the Influenza A outbreak has been declared over at Pembina Place MPCH! The last Resident who was positive has completed their isolation period.
The quick reaction of the staff and implementation of the anti-viral medication has stopped the spread of the virus in its tracks.
We would like to give our deepest condolences to the families of the two residents we lost during this outbreak. We send our thoughts and prayers to all.
All Residents can resume all activities and group programming for Recreation and Spiritual Care will be fully reinstated.
We still request that all family and general visitors consider wearing a mask while moving about the PCH, practice good hand hygiene and not to come to Pembina Place if feeling ill.
