“Bethania, a Mennonite Organization, provides compassionate, outstanding long term care and affordable housing for seniors.”

The name “Bethania” is derived from the biblical description of a small village, “Bethania” or “Bethany”, in Israel where Jesus was said to have met the residents’ physical and spiritual needs. It was a reflection of that same Christian faith that brought Bethania into being in 1945.

Since that time, Bethania has expanded its role. The Bethania Group now provides care in two Personal Care Homes and owns or manages several elderly persons housing complexes. What has not changed, however, is our commitment to Christian service for the elderly. As a Mennonite organization, we strive to operate in a manner consistent with our motto taken from Galatians 6:2 “Bear ye one another’s burdens.”

Your gift to Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation (BMMF) will play an important part in providing specialized services such as spiritual care, pet therapy, recreation programming, furniture and medical equipment for those we serve. We serve the whole person – body, mind and spirit. We receive no government funding for spiritual care, so donor support is vital. Your financial gift will enable us to continue to offer all our programs and services to our residents, their families and our staff as we continue our commitment to minister to the whole person.
